Nova U-18 and U-16 chalked up a double success by defeating Derbyshire Arrows U-18s 55-48 and the U-16s 75-41 in the NBL Premier North Division at
Portland Leisure Centre.

Matthew Wood (12 points) and Peter Edwards (13 points) held Arrows to 21 points in the first half which ended with Chris Michaelides nailing a three
pointer at the buzzer to make it 29-21.

Nova got scoring from eight different players while Tom Wade and Ashley Hall (5 points) held England's Andrew Ranking to 19 points.

There were good contributions from Nick Wright (4pts) Chris Archer (9pts) Tom Wade (4pts) James Smith (3pts) and Chris Michaelides (5pts).

Hall and Michaelides both made important contributions in the U-16 convincing victory over Arrows U-16. Chris top scored with 26 points while
Ashley grabbed 21 points.

The other scorers were Jeremy Whittome (7pts) Martin Kendall (5pts) John Topham (4pts) Joel Smith (4pts) James Sleigh (4pts) Ben Dinmore (2 pts) and
Kristian Gardiner (2pts).
